Poly-Trap by Nita Ganguly

51oo64dwuclI received Poly-Trap by Nita Ganguly as a review copy from Rupa Publications as a review copy from the publisher. I would like to thank the publisher for the same. The book has been illustrated by Niramoy Ganguly.

The Blurb (as provided by the publisher):

The world’s seas and oceans are home to numerous life forms. These life forms swim, float, jump or crawl in the world oceans freely. Humans however continue to put the lives of the sea creatures at risk in one way or the other. Join Wiley and his Mummy as they tell you about one of the man-made hazards that leaves the sea creatures gasping for breath and a possible way to let the creatures live freely.

The story:

Wiley, a baby sea-horse goes on his first journey into the open sea with his mother and she tells him that they would play a game of ‘I spy’. In this process, they see plenty of sea animals.

My take:

The author has used simple language to describe the sea animals in the book which would be easy to understand by children from three years plus. The illustrations are excellent. The author has used this book as a means to communicate an important message in the way of a story.

Disclaimer: I received a free copy of the book from the publisher in return for my honest review. I have NOT received any monetary compensation for the same.
