What Would I Tell Her @ 13 by Sudesna Ghosh is a book which the author has compiled using her knowledge of psychology. As the blurb mentions, the book is dedicated to the new Indian teenage girl, her parents and anyone trying to survive this phase. She has illustrated the various chapters of the book with interviews with various women and also compiled the viewpoints of child psychologists and various experienced parents.
The introduction of the book made me recall certain instances of my teenage years and made me nostalgic. As a mother of a ten year old who has already started rebelling here and there, I found this book very helpful and nice. I feel that I would need to read again and again as a reference manual as she progresses to thirteen and mark whichever I can for her to read.
