They’re Wed again by Penny Jordan

scan0002The July issue of M&B, fast fiction from Mills and Boon has a story by Penny Jordan, ‘They’re wed again’. It is the story of Isabelle and Lucius.

Isabelle and Lucius meet when she is a student and get married when he is still studying to become a lecturer in pure mathematics and she is working in a financial firm. They have fights and arguments and end up divorcing each other. Seven years later, she is surprised to see him at her doorstep, so much so, that she faints. They have been invited jointly as a couple to her niece’s wedding to his cousin.

I liked the book, a quick read. Ideal after a hectic day. The feelings of both the characters have been described but what I liked most was the fact that they discussed the failure of the marriage and how it could be made a success.
