This book is the first in the series and easy to follow as the characters are very well developed and the book is written in very simple English. The story is set in Vizag.
Mr Ali is a newly retired man and wants to do something with his time, so he opens a Marriage Bureau for rich people in the verandah of his house. Mrs Ali, the ever encouraging wife, feels that she should help her husband in every possible way, so she finds Aruna, a sweet, modest and sincere girl to help him as is office assistant. Their son, Rehman, is a qualified engineer. The clientele is interesting; it includes people from all walks of life, across all social strata and all religions.
Overall, a very enjoyable read, the flow is good, drags a bit at places but the link is well maintained. I bought this book when it was available on Flipkart at 50% off, was hooked on till the very end and then realized I need to read the sequels to the book and can’t wait to read the fourth book of the series.
